Re: Fangirly squeeage
Soo, I've been watching more of Robert's movies (haven't really had time to sit down and watch anything) and as of right now Obsession and Busman's Honeymoon are my favorites. I just love how not much has changed in my fangirly-ness since I was 12

Re: Fangirly squeeage
Oh, I love Obsession! That is without a doubt Bobbie at his coolest and creepiest! Haven't seen Busman's Holiday, but I'd like to.

Re: Fangirly squeeage
Got to be those beautiful eyes for me-like pools of chocolate.
Also:
Long elegant hands
Strong shoulders
Cute dimples and smile
Curly hair
Mellow voice
Not forgetting amazing talent and versatility!

Re: Fangirly squeeage
I totally agree with the 'scruffy' thing.
The first time I saw him as Bill Walker I thought 'swoon'. Jen is sexy too due to the whole 'accidentally ripped shirt' thing but I think he was at his most attractive in his late 30s early 40s. Even Bill Sykes is attractive at times (I love the scene when he's got his arm around Nancy in the pub).
Also scruffy hot as Jim in 'The First of the Few' when he's in the plane squashed up next to her.
Even many years (and pounds) later in 'The Beachcomber' when he's sleeping under the palm tree.

Re: Fangirly squeeage
My favourite feature has to be his eyes. They really were remarkable. They way they would change from fierce to soft and kind in an instant. He also had very thick eyelashes .
The way he looks at Anna Neagle in 'They Flew Alone' is incredibly sexy. If he looked like that at the ladies for real-no wonder he had four wives!
Also,
Nice shoulders and long legs/mellow voice.
Ability to remain attractive even when playing a bad guy/when older and overweight/disheveled like in 'The Beachcomber'!

Re: Fangirly squeeage
He also had a nice bum as observed in stills from Jamaica Inn . Yummy . Well he's all yummy physically .
But it goes further than that . He was rebellious to go with the getnleness , and he sort of has a fatherliness that is unusual in men who can do scary bastards very well .
For me , he always gives off this vibe you want to look after him . Which is pretty odd considering he's a 6' strapping bloke!!!! But it is there , this slightly helpless , sweet , please help and look after me thing . Most peculiar . He's a lot of things .
There's a lot behind his eyes .
