Those two pics are pretty big. Should I post reduced size versions of them instead? I can always give y'all the URL to the originals.

Aren't the photos from the David Lean website? Oh, and BTW, just in case anyone has tried to go out to the Moviefone site, where there were a nice group of Robert Newton photos, the photos have disappeared completely. His bio is still on the site but the photos have been removed. Susan has the link marked on this website (under links). I wonder what happened there? I was really impressed when I originally saw the assortment of photos contained on that site. But sadly, they are gone now emoticon .

No, as I said, I found them on PhotoBucket. Quite by accident; I was looking for your "Pouty Luke" pic.

And nobody saved them? If I had seen them I would have. One never knows how long anything stays on the web emoticon

Yes, I did save maybe about ten of them. There must have been about thirty out there, though. There were an assortment of scenes from films and candid shots. BTW, if you like scenes from THB then go to this link

It is a David Lean site and just click on the 'David Lean as director' link and you will see the movie THB, which has a lot of photos from the movie and behind the scenes.

Elizabeth, that scene really tickles me, too!
I also love the sequence when Frank & Bob sneak back into the house after going to that regimental dinner. Too funny! emoticon
