Re: Help!
Very nice, Sue! When you upload an avatar (or make any change to your profile), it takes some time for it to update completely in the system, so don't worry, it took.

I love that picture, where did you find it?
I don't usually go balistic over a picture of him, unless I really, REALLY like it!!!!
Where did you get it though?

Re: Help!
That's a screen cap, Elizabeth. I did that myself and then I antiqued it. Nice, huh? Of course it's from Baker of Barnbury (my favorite)! Wasn't he sweet there? If you want a copy, let me know.

Sorry to say, once you've shrunk an image down, there's no expanding it again.
Beg to differ here. Depending on the image software you use, expanding an image will look OK or not so OK. Of course, some detail was lost when shrinking, but the better image programs do a fairy good job of calculating what the in-between pixels should look like.
Hah! Looks like my avatar works too. Sorry it isn't another pic of Bobby, but this one is ME!

Re: Help!
Susan, are you happy now?
Will my avatar now show up on the posts I did on the Emlyn Williams board too?

Re: Help!
True, it all depends on how you shrink it, what resolution it was saved at, etc. But what programs can you use to expand a 72 dpi image that's been shrunk to 60 pixels?
Yes, I'm very happy you've joined us. Welcome to the party!
And, yes, your avatar will show up wherever you post on Runboard, so it should also show up on the Emlyn Williams board too. (That's why I have both actors on mine.)

I always use PhotoMagic for just about everything, but some of the more serious image manipulating programs do it pretty well too. PhotoShop for instance.
I wish I could attach pics here
