OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*swoon*
How very Newtony!!!!
I *LOVE* it when Eva starts doing her wonderful Picture Posting stunts!!!
I still giggle to myself thinking about the many looks of Robert Newton over at the Yahoo! Group - "A Bedroom Look" "Another Bedroom Look" "A Naked Look" "A Scruffy Look" and my personal favourite "A Domesticated Look"!!!
Eva you are a screencapping goddess!! It's true!!

They've got that film about male STIs - The Green C0ckatoo... They've got a film I'd never heard of before called Snowbound and also a funny sounding film called Dead Men are Dangerous.
What's the general opinion on these films?? Are they worth having a bash at?? I mean I think $16 starting bid for Snowbound is a bit daft but still... if it's worth my while I might attempt to unleash the purse strings on PayPal for 'em...
Good job remembering to put the "0" in C0cktoo, lol. Well, you've probably seen my "general" opinion in the reviews section of the site. Of those three, Snowbound is my least favorite. Bob's not in it enough until the end, but if you enjoy watching him dig holes in the ground (think Beachcomber and Blackbeard), this is probably his best performance.
The other two are worth it, IMO, not because they're especially great movies but because Bob has major roles in them, and he plays the lead in Dead Men Are Dangerous. Both films are also very short. (Of course, if you don't mind waiting a bit for me to get around to it--considering they're in the public domain--I could probably send them to you free of charge. Heck, what am I saying? Apparently, I could be making a killing on eBay! )
I will be very interested to find out if the copy of Hatter's Castle that's up there now is of a nice clear quality ... or if it's just the same copy that's been floating around for the past six or seven years now.
PS: Eva, maybe I should set up a topic specifically for sharing pictures? Hmm, what heading do you think it should go under?

Re: Off-topic chit-chat
PPS: I just created a topic for posting miscellaneous images, under the new "Media" forum, which also includes a topic for video clips. (Wasn't sure what else to call it. If you've got any better ideas, let me know. Thanks!)

Hmmm.... When I DO post pictures, it is mostly in response to something or other. Spev mentioned the three movies on this thread, so I picked out one from each. Seemed logical at the time.
If you don't want me to, just say so. You can always remove them, or I can if you prefer.
If I need to mention in one thread that I am posting pics somewhere else; that is just TOO much; it takes me forever just to do this much. Y'all wouldn't BELIEVE how slow my internet access is!

Re: Off-topic chit-chat
No no, not saying that at all, sorry for the confusion. If it's relevant to the topic, then please do post it in the topic. You just gave me the idea to create a new topic just for pictures, in case you (or anybody) just have the urge to share any out of the blue that don't relate to a specific topic. I think I speak for everyone by saying I really appreciate your posting the photos! It's nice to have "illustrations" in the midst of all this text, and you do a beautiful job editing them. Thanks!
